After hearing some White Stripes one day, I said to myself, “Holy Cow, Jack White is playing simple chords, but he is managing to create something original and uncharted”. Here is a video of me pretending/wishing I was Jack White and/or a fellow Raconteur.
Here is a song who’s guitar work is heavily influenced by Pink Floyd. I also sort of borrow the idea of soloing over a progression that climbs into different parallel and relative keys from the guitar solo in Billy Breathes by Phish.
This jam utilizes a drum set. Thanks to my brother-in-law, I was able to make a version of this song without looped drums. Thanks bud!
Unfortunately this will likely never be finished… so I’m going to share what I got! Most of this song is chillin’ on a D chord. Pretty cool how you really don’t need much of a progression to start feelin’ out a groove!
Jammin’ in pajamas. I hopped out of bed one Sunday morning and just started groovin’ with reckless abandon!
I jammed this one out in late May 2015. I was eager for it to be late June 😉
This is sort of a mellow vibe that transforms into a light groove. Improvised on a rainy day.
